Rear-Plex – Liver, Lung and Joint support for Dogs
We treat our pet dogs like members of our family. As dogs age their body starts to slow down. Like any other member of our family we want to keep our pet dogs as happy and healthy as long as possible. Rear-Plex is a natural supplement formulated to support your dog’s liver, lungs and joints as they live their life.
Rear-Plex proprietary formula contains Bovine Liver Concentrate, Vitamin C, MSM, Glucosamine and Pantothenic acid.
Bovine Liver Concentrate
Bovine Liver Concentrate provides the support for the health of your dog’s liver. Our domestic pet dogs do not eat the same way as their wolf ancestors. Bovine Liver Concentrate provides a source of vitamins and minerals in their natural state for easy absorption.
When dogs are young their liver makes all of the vitamin C they require. As dogs become older, the liver may not function as well. The ability to make vitamin C declines with age. Depending on the age of the dog and the underlying health concerns giving your dog small amounts of vitamin C makes sense.
MSM is a natural source of sulfur. Sulfur is necessary to create collagen for tendons and ligaments. Sulfur also helps to make claws stronger, a shiner coat, better wound healing, easier digestions, healthy lungs, healthy joints and a strong immune system.
We have heard of glucosamine for humans. You may take glucosamine yourself. If your best friend lives a long life his/her joints will suffer arthritis just like their humans. Glucosamine helps to create the fluid in the cartilage (Synovial Fluid) and provides the body the raw materials to maintain joint health.
Pantothenic acid (B5)
Pantothenic acid is required for the body to make digestive enzymes and hormones. Lack of Pantothenic acid can cause allergies in your furry friend. Small amounts of B-5 may alleviate your best friend’s allergies.
When to start giving your best friend Rear-Plex depends on the breed and the size of your best friend. For larger breeds you may want to give your dog Rear-Plex starting when they are three or four. Larger dogs may need higher doses when you first start out on Rear-Plex. You can gradually reduce the number of tablets to the dose that works best for your dog.
For smaller dogs supplementing with Rear-Plex can wait until they are 5 or 6. Some smaller dogs that are more active may need the support of Rear-Plex at an earlier age. Smaller dogs do not need the same amount of Rear-Plex as a larger dog. Adjust the dosage based on your best friend’s age and other health factors.
We all want the best for our furry babies while they are in our lives. Rear-Plex is one way to make sure they are healthy and stay with us for a long time.
